Creating a flowerpot holder

Received a beautiful calla from a friend, but did not have a holder that suited. Therefore, I started to crochet one.

 Some Zpaghetti yarn, crochet hook size 12 (DK) and a couples of hours later... 

- a different flowerpot holder.
I kept plastic bags around the plastic pot to avoid
the fabric becoming moist.

Summer tray created

My old white tray was beginning to look dirty in the bottom, but some colourful shelf paper has changed it in only a few minutes..

The shelf paper I bought has paste on the back so no need of glue.
Even though I say you can do it in minutes, you need to be patience to put the paper on without making air bubbles in the middle.

I am happy with the result and the tray can stay in our household some years still.
